Record the reading. Note the value, time, and measurement location. Keep food temperature separate from set points and ambient-air readings.
Describe the pattern. Say when it began, whether it repeats, and what you can see or hear.
Explain the business impact. Choose whether product is at risk, performance is declining, or the request is planned.
Share access needs. Include an onsite contact and preferred window without assuming provider availability.
Food-temperature context
Washington food rules generally require time/temperature-control-for-safety food to be held at 41°F (5°C) or less, subject to stated exceptions. A display, thermostat setting, air probe, and actual food temperature may differ. Follow the business’s procedures and applicable health-authority guidance for product decisions.
